HBO’s “Veep” Casting Basketballs Players in Philadelphia

The award-winning HBO show Veep is now casting actors for all types of roles.  Filming is underway for season 6 and you have the chance to be a part of one of HBO’s biggest shows. Casting directors have released an audition notice for male actors that are in their forties and can play basketball. They are also looking for male actors to play a Congressman.  Filming for these sport related scenes will be filmed in local Philadelphia gyms and sport complexes.


Veep is a political satire television series starring Seinfeld superstar, Julia Louis-Dreyfus.  It features Dreyfus as the Vice President of the United States.  Her character, Vice President Selina Meyer is an energetic, hilarious, and controversial “veep” to the President of the United States.  The show was renewed for a sixth season set to air in June 2017.  Both critics and fans love the show and demanded a new season.



Casting directors are looking for men who appear to be in their 40’s and 50’s. They are searching for upscale athletic types.
